I would say that the most formative experience happened to be the buyer behavior assignments. Why, because when you try to understand your target market personally, you truly understand the type of customers you will be serving as well as learning how to persuade them to buy your product. My most joyous experience was probably the first assignment which was the bug list. The bug list was not the easiest assignment even though at first glance it seemed like it. My most proudful experience happened to be the elevator pitches. Usually I don’t like talking into a camera and honestly would rather talk to a live audience instead! This class combined with somewhat of an entrepreneurial mindset I already had helped me gain a new perspective on how I want to approach my own business I currently have outside of school along with other business perspectives in the future. My recommendation to students is that when you think you have figured out your target market and what they want, you still need to keep looking even further! In this course specifically, (not during a pandemic) you need to really make an effort to go out and talk to possible consumers for your product and figure out everything about them you need to know. In order to foster this mindset, you need to have a broad and communicative understanding of yourself, your business, and your customers.

ReplyDeleteI also wrote that my most proudful experience in the class was the elevetor pitch. I am a relatively shy and awkward person on camera and I was proud of myself for being able to submit them.
