In the previous assignment the problem I identified revolves
around the lack of parking on college campuses, specifically UF.
Besides making more parking spots I also came up with a
method that would involve less construction and would be easier for everyone.
The concept would involve an app that is able to identify certain
areas on campus whether they may be within the work week hours or not, that
would ultimately tell you two things. The first thing the app would tell you is
what color parking pass is needed to park there, and the other thing would say
which exact spots are open within that specific parking lot. I believe this
would make peoples decisions easier and less hectic if they realize there are no
parking spots available and that they need to try another lot. I believe this
would be beneficial not only to UF but to all college campuses around the
world. In addition, this may extend to professional sporting venues, theme
parks, events, etc. I believe this would be the most cost-effective way of securing
a parking spot.
